Raise a challenge that you want to take on. You can recruit others to participate in the challenge by posting the tasks you would like to be supported in completing the challenge.
To create a challenge, first click on Start your challenge
in the top navigation bar. A page for creating a challenge will open. Fill in the required fields on the challenge creation page.
Once you have completed the fields, click Create
. Your challenge will be registered.
To update a challenge, go to the page of the challenge from your profile page, or other link. Click ...
icon at the top right of the page and select Edit Challenge
from the menu. The Challenge Update page will open. Update the required fields on the Challenge Update page.
When you have finished updating the items, click Update
. Your challenge will be updated.
If you want to close a challenge for some reason before it is completed,
go to the challenge's page from your profile page, or other link.
Click on ...
icon at the top right of the page and select Close(=stop) Challenge
from the menu.
Then a confirmation message will appear.
If you want to continue closing the challenge, please select OK
.
Your challenge will be closed.
Caution:
Set tasks that you want to ask people to help you accomplish the challenge.
To create a task, go to the page of the challenge you want
to create a task for, from your profile page or other links.
Click ...
icon at the top right of the page
and select Open Task
from the menu. This will open a page for creating tasks.
Fill in the required fields on the task creation page.
Once you have completed the fields, click Open
.
The task will be registered and the status of the task will be set as "Looking for", which means that the task is looking for an Owner (user who own and do the task).
To update a task, go to the page of the task from the list of tasks in the challenge, or other link.
Click ...
icon
at the top right of the page and select Edit this task
from the menu.
The task Update page will open. Update the required fields on the task Update page.
When you have finished updating the items,
click Save changes
. The task will be updated.
If you want to delete a task for some reason,
go to the task's page from the list of the tasks in the challenge, or other link.
Click on ...
icon at the top right of the page and select Delete this task
from the menu.
Then a confirmation message will appear.
If you want to continue deleting the task, please select OK
.
The task will be deleted.

Set your funding for a challenge
When a Task is set in a Challenge, people who are interested in or sympathetic to the Challenge/Task can apply to be the Owner of the Task.
To check the status of the applications for your task,
go to the task's page of the challenge and click Applicants
at the bottom of the page.
Application Status page will open,
where you will see a list of people who have applied and their comments.
Refer to the comments and the information on the applicant's profile page,
and select the appropriate Owner to execute the Task.
Once you have made your selection, click Assign
set in the row of the person you have selected from the list in the Application Status page.
The selected person will be notified that they have been selected as the Owner of the Task, and the status of the Task will change to "On-going", meaning that the Task Owner is executing the Task.
The status of a task can be checked by the icon displayed on the task's page.
"Looking for"
This is the status that the task is looking for an Owner.
When you create a task, the task will be set to this status.
"On going"
This is the status that the Task Owner is executing the Task.
Once the Task Creator determines and assigns the Task Owner, the task will have this status.
"Under review"
This is the status that the Task Owner has completed the Task and the Task Creator is reviewing it.
When the Task Owner completes the task and requests a review, the task will be set to this status.
"Complete"
This is the status that the Task Creator has completed the review and approved the completion of the task.
Once the Task Creator has completed the review and approval process, the task will be set to this status.
"On going"
status
until the Task completes its review and the Task is in the "Complete"
status,
the Task Owner and Task Creator should communicate about the progress, etc. using the following means:
As mentioned above, when the Task Owner completes a Task and asks the Task Creator
to review it, the status of the Task will change to "Under review"
.
The Task Owner review the Task to see if it is complete,
and if the review shows that there are no problems with the execution,
the Task Owner close the Task by changing its status to "Complete"
.
To set a task to Complete,
go to the task's page from the list of the tasks in the challenge, or other link.
Click on ...
icon at the top right of the page and select Approve the completion of this task
from the menu.
The task will be set to "Complete"
.
When you have achieved the objective you have set, you can complete the challenge. The challenge cannot be completed unless all tasks and child tasks associated with the challenge have been completed. If for some reason you want to complete the challenge before all tasks are completed, please contact the creator or owner of the uncompleted task and ask them to complete or delete the task.
To complete a challenge, go to the page of the challenge from your profile page,
or other link. Click ...
icon at the top right of the page
and select Complete
from the menu.
The Challenge Completion screen will appear, and you can create and enter the End Report on that screen.
The End Report is a report of the challenge's accomplishment to the challenge's supporters:
the task owner and the people who funded the challenge.
When you have finished creating the report entry, click Submit
.
Your challenge will be completed.
Once the challenge has been completed,
