Own a task

You can participate in each of the tasks listed in the challenge you are interested in or in the area in which you are registered. If you are accepted to participate in a task, you can also recruit others to post subtasks to help you complete your task.

1. Apply for a task

If there is an open challenge that interests you or you can relate to its purpose, see if there are tasks being offered to support the challenge that you can help with.

You can search for related challenges and tasks by entering search words in the search bar at the top left of the screen.

By clicking on a task in the list of search results or in the list of tasks in the Challenge screen, you can view the detailed information screen for that task.

In the Task List and Task Details screens, the status of the Task is displayed as an icon in the upper left corner. Tasks with a status of "Looking for" are tasks that are looking for Task Owners (users who will support the project by executing the task).

If you want to apply for a Task after checking the details and completion conditions of the Task, Click on ... icon at the top right of the page and select Apply for this task from the menu. The screen to apply for a Task will open. In the "Message" field, write a message to the Task Creator (the user who created the Task and is looking for a Task Owner to execute the Task). When you have finished filling out the form, click Apply button. Your application for the Task will be completed.

2. Withdraw your application for a task

For some reason, you wish to withdraw from a Task that you have already submitted, go to the page of the task from the list of tasks in the challenge, or other link. Click ... icon at the top right of the page and select Withdraw your application for this task from the menu. Your application will be canceled.

If you have already been assigned to a Task as a Task Owner, and you cancel your application to the Task, your application to the Task will be canceled and your assignment to the Task will be canceled at the same time. Then the Task will be changed in "Looking for" status, which means that it is looking for a Task Owner. If you wish to cancel your application to a Task after you have been assigned to a Task Owner, please do the cancellation after notifying the Task Creator in advance so that no one will feel uncomfortable.
